Bailey Nelson x Beach London Workshop Series

Posted by on

As part of our Old Spitalfields Market opening celebrations we hosted a month-long Workshop Series in partnership with Beach London. The workshops focused on learning the process of different crafts, with customers and passers-by invited to take part in screen printing, clay sculpting, zine making and (our personal favourite) Bring-Your-Own-Dog portraits.

No rest for the wicked after our launch party – the following weekend we kicked off our Bailey Nelson x Beach London Workshop Series, with a strong line-up: Ceramic Sunglasses Making with Fredde Lanka; Zine Printing with Kiosk Books; Tote Bag screen Printing with Manson’s Press; and Bring Your Own Dog Portraits with Suzi Kemp!

Our doggie portrait day was on the hottest day of the year so far, and we were competing with both the football World Cup as well as Wimbledon. Luckily there’s always a doggo or two around no matter where you are in London, and we had quite a few fluffy guys drop in to have their portraits done! Our favourite by far was Lengui, named after his (incredibly) long tongue.

We hope you enjoyed the workshops as much as we did! We look forward to seeing you in store.
